PEMBROKE’S Lloyd’s Bank is to close in little more than two months due to a lack of use, a spokeswoman for the bank has said.
The Pembroke branch in Main Street will close on July 25.
The branch has had just 26 regular weekly personal and business customers, with 93 per cent of personal customers already using other branches, such as Pembroke Dock.
Customers will have their accounts realigned to the Pembroke Dock branch, and there will be no other impact to the way they manage their accounts, a Lloyds Bank spokeswoman said.
She added: “This branch has been identified for closure because of the changing way customers choose to bank with us, which has resulted in customers using it less often. The majority of customers also now regularly use alternative branches or channels to complete their banking needs.
“We apologise for any inconvenience that these changes may cause, and have informed customers of the closest alternative branch which is in Pembroke Dock.”
