PEMBROKE Ladies Lifeboat Guild was delighted to be invited back to Brotherhill Farm, East Williamston by Dr and Mrs Don Cumpsty for their annual summer picnic in aid of the RNLI.

Thanks to everyone present, and very kind donations, an incredible £700 was raised for the charity.

The guild would also like to thank the Narberth fund-raising branch members of the RNLI and friends for being with them.

The glorious afternoon in this wonderful garden and success of the event was so well-deserved by everyone after such inclement weather.

Huge thanks go to hosts Dr and Mrs Cumpsty, who so generously welcomed all into their grounds for the second year in succession.

Pembroke Guild President Jennie Mc Intosh and Doug Mc Intosh, with their friends in the village, were on-hand to support members by erecting gazebos ready for the day.

The Krooks band: Tony, Dave, Mark, Ash, and Hayley, donated their time again playing all afternoon.

Finally, thanks to Guild members, both guests and organisers, for making the afternoon so enjoyable.
