PEMBROKE Dock’s recent Fire Station open day saw plenty to entertain the crowds, while raising more than £1,000 for charity.

A spokesman for Pembroke Dock Fire station said: “We raised over £1,000 for the Firefighters charity, the weather was great, and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

"We would like to say a big Thankyou to all those that supported our station open day. To everyone who helped provide for the day and all our visitors who kindly donated towards our charity.. We hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did.”

There was plenty to entertain and inform, with demonstrations of a house fire, a road traffic collision, line rescue and even the Fire Cadets performing a fire and rescue scenario.
