RECENT crime figures in Pembroke Dock, Pembroke, and the surrounding area have seen an overall increase month-on-month, the latest figures from Dyfed-Powys Police have revealed.

Crime figures reported in Pembroke Dock increased month-on-month, from 138 in July to 164 in August, while the Pembroke area decreased from 85 in July to 83 in August.

Pembroke Dock saw incidents of antisocial behaviour increase from 49-83, while Pembroke increased from 33-43.

Offences recorded in Pembroke Dock in August included 16 criminal damage or arson, down from 18; 19 violence offences, down from 35; 13 shoplifting, up from four; eight other theft, down from 13; five vehicle crime, up from three; eight burglary, up from two; and six drugs offences.

The Pembroke area saw five criminal damage, down from 12; 25 violence-related offences, up from 23; two burglary, down from four; one drugs, down from three; one vehicle crime, down from four; two burglary, down from four; and one shoplifting.
