PEMBROKESHIRE Leisure will once again be holding its popular Go-Tri Series in 2014, kicking off with a duathlon in St Davids next week.
The Go-Tri series caters for experienced triathletes, as well as someone who has never attempted the sport before. It has been awarded the prestigious London 2012 Inspire mark for its role in providing a legacy to the Olympic Games.
More than half the people who entered the 2012 series were first time competitors and aged between 18 and 65.
The 2014 series starts in St Davids on Sunday, March 2. The duathlon includes a 2 mile run around the city, a 7 mile cycle, followed by a 1.5 mile run.
Fishguard GoTri takes place on May 25, Crymych GoTri on July 20, Milford GoTri on August 10, and Haverfordwest GoTri on September 21.
They all comprise of 400 metre pool swim, a 12.5 mile cycle and a 3 mile run.
There are categories for novices, veterans (40+), open male, open female and mixed.
There will not be a Go-Tri at Tenby this year due to planned refurbishment of the leisure centre.
There are also special Go Tri events for youngsters, including the St Davids duathlon on May 28, Fishguard Go Tri on May 25, and Crymych Go Tri on August 20.
