Freemason's treasurer Chris Harding presents the cheque to Shalom House nurse manager Allyson Burrows.
SHALOM House has received a generous donation of £1,220 from the Freemason’s Grand Charity.
With this support, the palliative care unit in St Davids has been able to purchase a T34 McKinley Syringe Driver, which means patients can now be offered an alternative method of taking their medication.
The syringe driver replace the older versions at Shalom House which are going out of service.
The treasurer from the local Freemason’s branch recently visited Shalom House to present the cheque to nurse manager Allyson Burrows.
Allyson said: “It’s great news for us that the Freemasons were able to purchase a new driver that will directly benefit our patients.
“A huge thank you for all their support and hard work.”
