People in the Kilgetty and Begelly areas are being asked to make sure their property is secure following a trio of crimes under the cover of darkness this week.

A lorry parked overnight next to the public toilets in Kilgetty had half a tank of diesel siphoned from it, while an orange and grey Stihl power saw was removed from a secure storage unit on the side of a vehicle parked in the village.

There was also an attempt to break into a steel storage container in the rear car park of St Mary's Church, Begelly by removing a steel padlock.

All the incidents took place between Monday (January 20) and Wednesday (January 22)

Police are also requesting residents to recall and to keep a look out for any suspicious activity by people or vehicles in the area.

Anyone with any information should contact PC Jackie Howells at Narberth police station on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
