TWO emergency services combined to make Father Christmas’s visit to Tenby a memorable one on Saturday.
Tenby RNLI’s lifeboat, the Haydn Miller, transported the great man ashore to the lifeboat station and he and town mayor, Councillor Paul Rapi, were then towed into town by the inshore lifeboat.
After encountering a festive flurry of ’snow’ from the roof of Tenby House Hotel, they carried out the Christmas tree lighting switch-on in Tudor Square.
The community policing support vehicle was used as an emergency base for DJ Steve Briers after the weather proved too windy for the planned gazebo.
