ST TEILO’S School in Tenby has raised £170 for the Wales Air Ambulance by holding a non-uniform day.
The fundraising was in thanks for the recent life-saving service to Mike and Paula Smith, both former governors of the school.
Mr and Mrs Smith, of Begelly, were both airlifted from the scene of a road accident on the Red Roses bypass shortly before Christmas. They suffered critical injuries, from which they are still recovering.
Staff and governors of St Teilo’s also collected £190 for Mr and Mrs Smith’s children, Aled and Lorna - former pupils of the school - to help with their expenses.
