TOWN COUNCIL At the last meeting of Whitland Town Council, various matters were discussed. Members noted that young people gathering in the doorways of the town hall are causing a nuisance. Concern was raised about traffic going the wrong way down St Mary's Street and that people from local businesses are occupying some of the main street parking spaces all day. The council has declined an offer from the county council to be responsible for its public conveniences, at a cost of £3,000 a year.
