Father dies in Lamborghini accident

A father-of-four has died after the Lamborghini he was driving left the track of an airfield and flipped upside down into the garden of a house.

Graham Padmore, 58, had taken his son, Mark, for a ride in the supercar for his 21st birthday when the tragedy happened last Monday in Stockport, Greater Manchester.

Mr Padmore suffered critical injuries and was taken to hospital where he has since died, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said.

Mr Padmore's son suffered minor injuries in the accident and was released from hospital earlier.

In a statement issued by GMP, Mr Padmore's family said: "Graham was a loving, doting husband and father of four to Claire, Helen, Catherine and Mark.

"He lived for his family and friends.

"He was treating his son, Mark, to a ride in a Lamborghini for his 21st birthday, which was typical of Graham, when this tragic accident occurred.

"He just wanted to be with his family and see them happy.

"We will miss him dearly but he will live with us forever in whatever we do."

Police found the car on its roof in the garden of a nearby house having left the track at Woodford Aerodrome.
