Bexley lost by 43 points to 17 when they travelled to Shooters Hill on Saturday. The home side took an early lead with two converted tries. But Bexley managed to level the score by half time with two tries of their own.
The first came when the Rutter brothers Keith and Graham combined well to put Felix Symonds over. Then Alan Larbey gathered a clever kick ahead from Steve Fry to score under the posts.
Bexley lost their shape in the second half with two players being sin binned at different stages. Shoots ruthlessly took advantage of this and racked up the points. Bexley's only reply was a Keith Rutter penalty.
Bexley will be looking for a better performance when they visit Old Olavians this Saturday, kick off 2 30 PM.
