Broken benches, overgrown steps and out of control vegetation are spoiling one of Fishguard's most scenic walks.
Despite boasting some of the finest views in Fishguard, the Marine Walk is suffering from neglect, which is causing concern.
Fishguard and Goodwick mayor, councillor Richard Davies has received numerous complaints about this area, and is calling for the county council to take urgent action.
He said: "It's diabolical. It's supposed to be a scenic route, but you can't see anything because it is so overgrown.
"Visitors can't believe how much the place has deteriorated over the last few years."
Cllr Davies brought the matter to the attention of the town council at last week's meeting. He highlighted the need to work together with the county council to make sure improvements are made.
He added: "It's not vandalism, it's sheer lack of maintenance. It has not been touched for years.
"I feel sorry for the business people that more is not being done."
