Croydon Community Health Council is celebrating this week following the Government's confirmation that CHCs will not be abolished. But a spokesman for Croydon CHC said members will be keeping the champagne on ice until they are sure patients' best interests will be served by the newly revised Health and Social Care Act, which sets out how CHCs will work.
