School closures December 17, 2010

SCHOOLS across Pembrokeshire have been hit by the snow and icy conditions but most are open today.

The following schools have reported problems:

  • Ysgol Clydau school is OPEN but will close at noon due to road conditions Tavernspite school is OPEN - but parents were asked to take care getting in and not worry about being late.
  • Saundersfoot school is OPEN but has warned people to take care on surrounding roads and footpaths.
  • Ysgol y Frenni is CLOSED due to snow and poor travel conditions
  • Ysgol Llanychllwydog - Gwaun Valley is partially open from 10am. Local travel difficulties are being experienced.
  • Ysgol y Preseli, Crymych, is closed due to the snow.
