Born and brought up on the farm at Leweston, Heather was a true country girl, with a passion for animals.

In just over two years, Heather had co-ordinated events that raised many thousands of pounds.

The funeral was held on December 16 at Wolfsdale URC.

It was attended by many hundreds of people and on a calm, peaceful day in the middle of stormy weather, her family and friends were able to come together to celebrate her life. During the service, the Landsker Singers gave an emotional rendition of the ‘Rhythm of Life’ and a more emotional ‘Shine Jesus Shine’ as Heather left the chapel for the last time.
