OVER the past few years, almost £2,000 has been donated to both the British Heart Foundation and the Intensive Care Unit at Withybush General Hospital with the sales of programmes and DVDs from the Pembrokeshire County Run.
This year organisers hope to raise much more money from the sale of the 2010 programmes to these two worthy causes so close to our hearts.
This year we expect between 500 and 700 motor vehicles and motor bikes spanning almost a 100 years of motoring to take part on the 2010 Run along the 100 mile route around our beautiful county of Pembrokesahire,witnessing both our beautiful coastline and the Preceli Hills complete with its Preseli Bluestone of Stonehenge fame.
The Pembrokeshire County Run attracts entries from all over the UK and abroad, with many participants and spectators organising their annual holiday or weekend break around this event .. with many booking their accommodation 12 month's in advance!
