THE official opening of the newly-refurbished Agriculture House in Haverfordwest is taking place today (Friday).

The opening will be one of Meurig Raymond’s first tasks as president of the NFU, who will officially open the newly refurbished NFU Cymru offices along with Richard Percy, chairman of NFU Mutual.

The building has undergone months of extensive work to make the offices more customer friendly.

Haverfordwest NFU Cymru group secretary Howell Davies said: “People have always valued good service from local businesses and our philosophy has always been to provide an attentive and personal service for members, whether talking to them on the phone, face-to-face in the office or visiting them at their businesses or in their homes. It is this culture of customer care that enables us to really get to know our members and tailor our services to their needs in a way which simply would not be possible if our business was conducted entirely online or over the telephone.”

Local NFU Cymru members are invited to drop in to Agriculture House for light refreshments and a tour of the building. Howell Davies and his team at the office will also be available for any questions.

The official opening of Agriculture House, Winch Lane, Haverfordwest is taking place today from 2pm.
