PEMBROKESHIRE'S women pulled out the stops with their fantastic outfits for Ladies Day 2014 at the County Show on Wednesday.

There was barely room to move at the reception, as attendees cheerfully chatted while enjoying drinks and canapés.

Lady Ambassador Tania Hancock looked fresh and modern, in a tailor-made dress, bold hat and incredible shoes.

Helpful staff from Haverfordwest’s Vogue Beauty Salon were on-hand to give product demonstrations and extra touches of make-up, and Pro Nails Haverfordwest sponsored and judged a competition for the best dress, shoes and fascinator of the day.

In testament to how good the guests looked, Pro Nails representatives couldn’t choose one best dress, and ended up picking three instead.

A raffle on behalf of the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI) – a cause nominated by President’s Lady Margaret Young – featured an array of fantastic prizes and raised £1,300 for the organisation, which supports farming families suffering financial difficulties.

Linda Jones, RABI’s regional manager, expressed her gratitude for the impressive donation.

“I’d like to thank all those who have helped to make Ladies Day so special,” said Tania.

“You all look amazing, and I’m sure you’ll be turning a few heads here today!”
