MEURIG Raymond, NFU President and local farmer, will be guest speaker at the next Pembrokeshire NFU Cymru on-farm meeting on Friday, September 4.

The meeting will start at 2pm and will be hosted by Pembrokeshire NFU Cymru County Chairman, Simon Richards on his farm, Little Hasguard, Dale Road, Haverfordwest.

During the meeting Mr Raymond will update local members about the challenges of volatile markets in the dairy, red meat and arable sectors and will inform those present of the recent lobbying work done by the NFU on their behalf with all the major retailers and discounters. Meurig will also discuss NFU lobbying with government at all levels and will outline NFU campaign work with consumers asking them to support our farmers through these challenging times.
