Hideaway Farm Meats of Ludchurch near Narberth were celebrating after winning the Welsh Pig section at the Royal Welsh Spring Festival.
Their Large White gilt Hideaway Maple was also reserve breed champion and won the modern female heat of The Pig of The Year competition at the festival.
The small family run butchery is known for its range including old fashioned, thick cut, dry cured bacon, award winning hand linked rustic sausages and burgers and were finalists in the Meat Producer of the Year in the recent Food Awards Wales.
They have been breeding pedigree Welsh pigs for a number of years.
“We’ve had quite a lot of success recently,” said Corinna Taylor. “We only enter three shows a year and won the supreme championship at last year’s Pembrokeshire County Show.”
