Pembrokeshire County Council’s agreement to the use of the active runway at Withybush Airport for parking during the three day county show in August has been welcomed by Pembrokeshire Agricultural Society.
General manager Malcolm Crossman told the society’s annual meeting last Wednesday that this concession will help the show considerably, particularly in wet weather. The newly-elected president, David Roach, said it means show patrons can be assured of dry ground to park on, ending the prospect of being towed out of the mud.
