A DONATION of £300 was presented to the Pembrokeshire Action for Children Young Carers Project at Pembrokeshire Agricultural Society's annual Harvest Thanksgiving and Supper at the County Show Pavilion on October 8th.

President Dick Davies presented the cash, proceeds of the collection and the auction of a floral arrangement, to the Project Co-ordinator Charlotte Phillips and Events Organiser and key worker Siobhan Devonald, who outlined the vital work done by the charity.

The Harvest Service was conducted by the Society Chaplain, Canon Geoffrey Gwyther, the sermon was given by Fr Liam Bradley, Assistant Priest at St David and St Patrick Catholic Church, and the lessons were read by President-elect Ian Fudge and Lady Ambassador Tania Hancock. The accompanist was Mrs Shirley Williams.
