South Pembrokeshire Young Farmer joins Rural Youth Europe European Rally

South Pembrokeshire Young Farmer Wayne Shanklin (pictured) is one of five members of Wales YFC who will be heading off to Sweden on July 31st for the Rural Youth Europe European Rally.

The European Rally is an annual event where a number of different teams of YFC members from across Europe take part in activities designed to bridge the gap between members from different cultures and backgrounds.

The rally this year, under the heading ‘DIY in the countryside: think global, act local, be vocal!’ will focus on employment and entrepreneurship. It will be an opportunity to share best practice in entrepreneurship and as a tool in preventing unemployment and depopulation of rural areas.
