Saundersfoot Sports came back from a twogoal deficit to salvage a draw at Monkton Swifts.

It’s been a turbulent week for the Swifts as manager Byron Phillips stepped down and Neil Jones has taken temporary charge.

The Swifts broke the deadlock in the 29th minute when Lee Gilpin scored with a stooping header.

James Russell extended the lead with a simple tap-in on 32 minutes.

However, the Swifts got back in the game in the second half and began to dominate and were rewarded when Nick Cope scored twice to earn his side a point. His first goal was a header and the second was from a direct free kick from the edge of the box that comprehensively beat keeper Corey Phillips.
