Tenby pick up first league win

Tenby 4

Narberth 1

Ashley Andrews scored twice to earn Tenby a surprise but thoroughlydeserved victory over Narberth at the Clicketts.

The Seasiders have had a poor start to the season, but after winning in the Senior Cup at Saundersfoot Sports last week, Peter Roberts’ Seasiders are now playing with restored confidence.

This was the hosts’ first win of the campaign and was thoroughly deserved as they ran Peter Fearn’s Bluebirds ragged.

Sam Christopher grabbed an early goal for Tenby, but the visitors struck back with a well-taken goal scored by Ashley Williams.

Just before the break and Andrews scored with an absolute belter to give Tenby a 2-1 lead at the break. In the second half the Seasiders added further goals when Daryl Mansbridge drilled home a low drive, and Andrews made no mistake from the penalty spot, sealing the allimportant points.
