The 40th anniversary of the Mathry Shoot proved a huge success with competitors travelling from all over the county to compete.

There were also entrants from outside of Pembrokeshire as 207 people took part in glorious weather.

The four shooting stands provided a good test for everyone who competed.

After the event, shooters and supporters, including Mathry Shoot president Robert Griffiths, headed to the Farmers Arms in Mathry for the presentation.

Event chairman Roger Lamb announced the results and thanked all the committee members and volunteers for their help, as well as those who had helped supply equipment on the day.

He also expressed gratitude to Brian, Sally, and Anne-Marie Farmer for providing the catering at the Farmers Arms.
