Becky Harries has been recognised by Haverfordwest Town Council for another great golfing year.

Becky, playing off a handicap of +3, has had a successful season at national and international level.

She represented Wales in the European Individual Championships in Slovenia and was the only Welsh lady to make the cut. She played in the Home Internationals in Cork where the Welsh team finished second. She also recently returned from the World Cup Championships in Turkey In the Pleasington Putter, Blackburn, she finished second place after losing out in a play-off, and lost by a shot in The Astor Salver, Berkshire. Other competitions she has played in include the Spanish Open (6th), the British Open (17th), the Scottish Open (11th) and the English Open (9th).

Becky missed qualifying for the Ricoh Professional Ladies British Open by one shot.

The mayor of Haverfordwest, councillor Ken Wyburn presented Becky with a town council plaque, scarf and badge.
