Eight members of TROTs running club travelled to north Wales for the infamous Snowdon Marathon.

All TROTs runners did well to finish.

Results: Dean John three hours five minutes (3:05); Jason Dickinson 3:08; Jonathan Jones 3:28; Martin Davies 3:54; Jon Hanock 4:07; Brian Moffett 4:15; Kevin Jenkins 4:20 and Andrea Brabrook 5:08.

Brian Williams completed the Coastal Trail Series half marathon in Suffolk, finishing second in the 60 and over race. He also finished second in the same series race in Gower.

Adrienne Mackintosh completed the Mud Runner Classic in Herefordshire in a time of 1:57, and Chris Birch ran the Abingdon Marathon in 3:58.

This month also saw club members travel to Parc De Pugh, Brecon, to take part in the second Gwent Cross Country League meeting.

Senior men results: Adam Roberts 34th; Daryl John 42nd; Jack Tremlett 69th; Jonathan Jones 77th; Jason Dickinson 120th; Simon Scurrell 182nd; Tom Bryant 224th; Andrew Russell 241st.

Senior ladies results: MelWatson 22nd; Elizabeth Tremlett 30th; Lindy Eynon 49th; Catharine Bleasdale 76th; Caroline Jones 79th; Anwen Jones 123rd; Pauline Thomas 150th.

Ann Rowell and Cyril Walters were selected for Wales at the British and Irish Masters Cross Country International Event in Belfast.

Also, eight runners took part in A Dam Good Race, Llys Y Fran. Mike Evans was the first man in 40:27 and Shan Roberts was the first lady in 43:26.

Finally, Jason Dickinson, Jonathon Jones and Mike Hodges travelled to the Elan Valley 10 mile race. Jason Dickinson clocked 1:05; Jonathon Jones 1:06 and Mike Hodges 1:47.
