 Johnston 4

JOE John bagged a hattrick for in-form Johnston who easily overcame Saundersfoot Sports in their own backyard.

After last week’s sensational West Wales Cup victory, the Tigers followed up with another impressive win to move up to second in the table –11 points behind leaders Hakin.

However, the Sports took the lead on 35 minutes when Nick Cope scored with a well executed direct free-kick from the edge of the 18-yard area.

But just before the break the visitors equalised when John turned and shot to find the bottom of Ben Evans’ net.

The second half belonged to the Tigers as they put the Sports under pressure with a barrage of attacks.

Adam Hawkins added the second before he provided the third as John rose highest to score with a header.

On 76 minutes John bagged a treble when neat play between Steve Mills, James Skudder and Hawkins set the striker up with a simple header to complete the scoring.
