Findlay’s two goal joy
5:00pm Friday 22nd March 2013 in Sport
Hundleton 2
St Ishmaels 4
A Brilliant second half display earned St Ishmaels victory over bottom of the table Hundleton.
The visitors only have six games left if they are going to complete the ‘great escape’ and stay in the top flight. A win and a draw would save Mark Powell’s struggling outfit, but games are quickly running out for them.
Brennan Findlay scored with a peach of a header that gave Tish an early lead.
However, the hosts hit back with goals from Thomas Powell and Rhodri Davies to lead 2-1 at half time.
But Robbie Thomas’ Tish outfit completely dominated in the second half and eased home to victory with plenty to spare. On the hour mark and Joel Morgan struck from inside the box for the equaliser.
Ten minutes later Lewy Davies slotted home from inside the box and gave his side the lead. And ten minutes from full time Findlay added his second goal of the match and put the result out of reach of poor old Hundleton.
