Goodwick United 1 Tenby 4

TENBY were too hot for Goodwick United at Phoenix Park.

This was the visitors first win of the season, and left Steve Blackford's team feeling completely shell-shocked at the final whistle.

Tenby did the double over Goodwick last season, so they were quietly confident of getting a result on the road again.

Jerome Mansbridge opened the scoring for the visitors in the tenth minute, the striker rounding keeper James Gwilt.

Billy Vaughan doubled the lead in 25th minute, striking home a sweet half-volley from just inside the box.

Five minutes after half time and Jordan Richards confidently despatched and put his side three-up.

Rhys Dalling pulled a goal back for Goodwick with a header, but the visitors had the final say when a foul inside the box saw Richards stepped-up and finished with aplomb from the penalty spot, for his second goal of the match.
