LAST Saturday, the gents section held the September monthly medal sponsored by Alan Summons of B&A Contracts; the competition was also qualifiers for Brian Bebb Shield and the Nicholas Scratch Cup.
The winner was Paul Comber winning his first competition at the club with gross 88, nett 66 with Andrew Arnold winning the best gross 77.

LAST Tuesday, 24 seniors played in a stableford competition .
The winner was Owain Picton who returned a gross 73, nett 62 to give him 45 points, the highest points total that he had ever scored in his 32 years of playing golf. Second was Jack Jenkins with 43 points which included five points for his hole-in-one on the par three 16th.

Last Thursday the seniors travelled to Trefloyne Golf Club to play an annual friendly match. The result was a win for the home team by seven matches to one.
On Thursday, September 12 and 19 the seniors will play two stableford competitions.
Today (Thursday) the seniors will play their last friendly match of the season when they travel to South Pembs Golf Club.
JUNIOR organiser Simon Nicholas took a party of 12 juniors to see the final day of the Welsh Golf Open played at Celtic Manor; assisted by Lyndon Brown, Mark Jenkins, Tony Potter and Nigel Roberts.

THE Tigers will play their last division one Dyfed League match of the season at home this Saturday.
TENBY beat Milford by five matches to one. The Rabbits have only two more Pool A matches to play; on Sunday September 15 they will travel to Haverfordwest and the following Sunday 22 they will play Carmarthen Golf Club.
NEXT Monday and Tuesday the green staff will be hollow coring the greens at the club and is looking for volunteers to assist them on either of these days.
