MONKTON Swifts twice came from behind to secure a point at home to Johnston.
The visitors took the lead in the 24th minute, Luke Hayward bundled the ball into the net from a cross by skipper Chris Ormond in the box. Swifts centre back Jamie Callan was yellow carded after strongly protesting to referee Steve Williams that the midfielder had used his hand to score.
In the 36th minute and the Swifts equalised, centre back Shaun Jones headed home a Daniel Scourfield set-piece.
Six minutes after half time and the home side were awarded a penalty that Tigers keeper Martin Langdon, brilliantly denied Lee Brockway diving to his right.
A minute later and the visitors regained the lead, Hayward curling a shot into the bottom left-hand corner for his second goal of the clash.
The Swifts squared matters in the 80th minute as substitute James Russell drilled in the far corner from 15-yards out.
