Pennar Robins 2

Merlins Bridge 3

DANIEL Bryce’s late goal earned Merlins Bridge a hard fought narrow victory against Pennar Robins at Bush Camp.

The Robins twice took the lead, but at the final whistle the home side were bitterly disappointed that they had to settle for nothing as the Wizards pinched the vital points.

Phil Thompson gave the hosts a one-goal cushion at the break, five minutes after the interval and Bryce calmly slotted past Michael Murray to level matters.

Twelve minutes later and the Robins regained the lead as Adam John struck from inside the box.

On the 70 minute mark and the visitors equalised thanks to an own goal, and in the 80th minute, Bryce scored the winner, which was his second goal in this pulsating tussle.
