TENBY caused an upset by knocking out one of Senior Cup favourites Hakin United out at the Clicketts Ground.

The Seasiders grabbed a goal in each half, and Mike Lewis’ team were delighted not concede as they will now meet second division outfit Fishguard Sports in the quarter finals at home.

The hosts broke the deadlock in the 20th minute, The Vikings failed to clear defensively and striker Sam Christopher struck from inside the box.

Gary Dawes’ Vikings pressed hard for an equaliser, but the hosts resiliently stood firm and scored a second goal ten minutes from full time.

Billy Vaughan unleashing a 20-yard thunder-bolt that flew in the top corner of James Manson’s net and there was no way back for the stunned Vikings.
