Johnston 7

THE TIGERS strolled into the Senior Cup quarter-finals after handing out a seven-goal mauling to Saundersfoot Sports.

With the news that Johnston has been kicked out of the West Wales Intermediate Cup for admitting to playing an ineligible player in their 4-1 win at St Josephs last week, (story on back page) current Senior Cup holders purred to a terrific win against first division opponents.

Adam Hawkins opened the scoring in the first minute, centre back Ben Phillips added a second in the 5th minute and James Skudder was on target with a third in the 34th minute.

Three minutes after the break striker Hawkins scored his second of the tie, defender Andrew John scored a rare goal for the fifth before Geoff Marsh pulled one back for The Sports.

Substitute Nicky Woodrow added two further goals in the last ten minutes, and now Johnston will travel to the winners of the St Clears and Hundleton replay.
