Goodwick United 3

A BRILLIANT hat-trick by striker Rhys Dalling secured a convincing victory for Goodwick United at Monkton Swifts.

This was the visitors’ seventh win of the season as they enter the Christmas break in fourth position in the table, five points behind leaders Narberth.

However, Benno Jones Swifts suffered their fourth defeat on the bounce as they sit in eighth spot, and will be striving to improve in the New Year.

The visitors led two-nothing at half time, and they opened their goal-scoring account in the 20th minute, Kieran O’Brien and James Evans combined to set-up Dalling who drilled home from inside the box.

The visitors doubled their lead ten minutes later, Dalling latching onto a through ball before rounding keeper Lance Creese and planting the ball in the empty net.

Dalling completed a super hat-trick in the 65th minute, the front man beating the offside trap and showing tremendous composure and slotting past the advancing Creese and complete the scoring.
