ADVERSE weather has once again severely hit the county and disrupted the Pembrokeshire Football League programme on Saturday.

The whole of the Pembrokeshire junior league was postponed and there were only three matches completed in the senior league.

Two of the games were played at the same ground, where Camrose first and second teams hosted Hubberston and Narberth thirds respectively at the Martin Mathias Memorial Ground.

The only other game to take place was at Hillcroft where a mid-table division two clash was played between Johnston seconds and Milford Athletic.

The Tigers’ second string narrowly won 3-2, with Joe John, Ben Phillips and Ryan Doyle netting for the victors as Shane Walsh and an own goal was credited with the goals for the losing visitors.

With another bad weather forecast for this week, this Saturday’s league programme is possibly in danger of seeing another washout.
