Tenby 6

Neyland 0

TENBY hit six goals past hapless Neyland, with striker Sam Christopher bagging a first half hat-trick.

Mike Lewis’ Tenby outfit purred to their sixth win of the season, against a Nomads team that simply could not live with the hosts.

Sam played up front with his brother and former Welsh League star Jack Christopher, the latter setting up his younger sibling for the first two goals in the 10th and 35th minutes. On stroke of half-time he completed his treble from the penalty spot.

Daryl Mansbridge added a fourth from inside the box five minutes after the interval.

Jordan Richards struck the fifth in the 70th minute and Mansbridge scored the sixth in the 75th minute, his second goal of the game that completed the rout.

Neyland have installed a new manager Jeff Button until the end of the season as former Nomads boss Dai Davies resigned following an incident with Mike Chandler.

Neyland are safe from the relegation dog fight but they will be looking for results to improve in the run-in.

This Saturday, Neyland entertain Hakin United and Tenby travel the short distance to play at derby rivals Saundersfoot Sports.
