West Dragons 5

Narberth 3

JONNY Horgan scored a stunning hat-trick to help West Dragons to a thoroughly deserved victory over Narberth at the Pavilion Field.

Horgan bagged two early goals before the visitors fought back with a brace from Ade Jones to make it 2-2 at half time.

But Byron Phillips’ Dragons started the second period the more dangerous and were rewarded as Horgan ghosted in at the far post to score his third and minutes later Bardley Barrett’s fierce strike made it 4-2.

Ashley Williams gave Narberth a glimmer of hope as he came off the right wing and buried his shot in the far corner past the outstretched Dan Birch.

But the Dragons sealed victory when Crawford broke clear and buried his side’s fifth goal to secure the points and effectively kill any chances that Narberth had of winning the title.
