Gents Section

As a result of this fantastic score Steve’s handicap was adjusted from 25 to 22, Michael Arnold also had his adjusted to 13 from 14. Ladies

DUE to some of club’s golfing ladies enjoying a short golf break in Portugal, there were only nine ladies playing last Tuesday. Weather was a bit chilly and just a short shower of rain but it didn't deter the dedicated few.

The winner was Denise Kimber with 31 points and the runner-up was Margaret Hicks with 29 points. One lucky lady was Mary Christopher who managed to sink a very long putt on hole 6 for a birdie to win the rollover twos kitty.

Last Friday, a team of ten ladies travelled to Trefloyne to play their first league match. They all put up a good fight but unfortunately lost 2-3 after some very close matches.

On Sunday, 13 ladies played in the second Rookery Nook competition of the year and the winner was Eileen Davies with a 76 nett and the runner-up was Barbara Phillips with 78 nett. There were no twos recorded, so the money rolls over.
