THREE disability school gymnasts from Milford Haven will take part in the Gemau Cymru multi sport event that will take place in Cardiff next month.
The Pembrokeshire trio participating are Jemma Bowie Hallam, of Milford Haven Comprehensive School; Anthony Triebel, who is schooled at home in Milford Haven and Jayden Elliott, of Hakin Junior School.
This competition sits below the UK School games, and offers competition for athletes at the high end of their sport.
The event will take place at the Sport Wales National Sports Centre, Sophia Gardens Cardiff on July 4 to 6. This event will be televised on S4C, and the Milford Haven trio will compete on the Sunday morning. They will perform alongside the men’s and women’s gymnasts after being invited to apply for places to this prestigious event and selected on their ability from all over the country.
