Llanrhian (96 for 3) beat Saundersfoot (92 all out) by 7 wickets

LLANRHIAN maintained their good form with a comfortable win over basement strugglers Saundersfoot, who were unable to field a full team and paid the inevitable price.

They were shot out for only 92 at Llandigige Fawr as Jack Jones spear-headed the home attack with 5 for 21 alongside Matthew Bennett (1 for 41), Luke Jones 1 for 10) and the evergreen Tony Kitchell (1 for 7) so that only Steve Cook (20), Jack Franklyn (16) and Jamie Morgan (17) ever stayed long for the Seasiders.

Geraint Morris (17) and Paul Lewis (15) helped Llanrhian to 55 for 3 before Jack Jones completed a good all-round performance with 28 not out (four boundaries) in an unbroken stand of 43 with Richard Reed, who belted a big six in his unbeaten 20 so that although Jack Franklyn (2 for 34) and Neil Powling (1 for 24) bowled quite well for Saundersfoot it was Llanrhian who strolled home to an early victory.
