Llangwm (193 for 7) beat Pembroke (191 for 9) by 3 wickets

DESTRUCTIVE knocks from Chris Inward and Luke Brock helped Llangwm chase down Pembroke’s total of 191-9 in just 34 overs at Pill Parks.

Inward smashed 64 off 44 balls, and Brock 44 off 36 balls, to keep their side’s promotion hopes on track.

Pembroke’s Andrew Hay had top scored for the visitors as he hit four fours and three sixes in his 44, while Jonathan Rogers (29), Sam Davies (19) and skipper Sean Powell (17) all helped set a challenging target.

For the home side, Ollie Davies led the bowling with 5-44, while James Venable took 2-32.

And Inward and Brock then took over to set up a superb Llangwm win, alongside Shaun Waller (22).

For Pembroke, who more than played their part in an entertaining clash, Lewis Wilks took 3-29, Jack Harries 2-53, and Davies 1-19.
