Johnston 2-0 Narberth

ADAM Hawkins grabbed a goal in each half to secure a comfortable victory for The Tigers against The Bluebirds at the Glebelands Ground.

The kick-off was delayed for 20 minutes as the visitors had forgotten to travel with their kit. Toby Lancaster had also travelled to Johnstown, Carmarthen, thinking he had arrived at the ground only to be told by Narberth manager that the team was playing in Johnston, Pembrokeshire.

Those two travesties sort of set the tone for the Bluebirds who never really settled against a hungry looking Tigers outfit.

Midway through the first period and Hawkins broke the deadlock with a looping header over John Durbridge; the scoring opportunity was set-up with a neat free-kick in the box by Andrew Murray.

In the 53rd minute Hawkins struck his second goal of the game, the striker latching onto a ball in the box and instinctively burying it in the far corner.
