THE September Monthly Medal, sponsored by Brian and Alan Summons of B & A Contracts, was blessed with good playing conditions, which was reflected in the excellent scoring on the day. Brian and Alan have been long-time supporters of the monthly medals and the club generally their continued support is much valued and for which the club is extremely grateful.

Striding out in front was Scott Findlay making a welcome return to competition after his Winter League heroics; Scott returned an exceptional card of gross 84 nett 61 to shunt Lyndon Brown into second place. Lyndon’s gross 68 nett 64 would on most days have secured the win but on this occasion he had to be content with the prize for best gross. Richard Hull with a nett 67 taking third place on countback from Gareth Fawcett.

The presentation was carried out by Mr Brian Summons as sponsor.
