Pennar Robins 3
Narberth 2
SAM Southcott scored twice to earn Pennar Robins a crucial win against Narberth at Bush Camp.
The visitors took the lead in the 15th minute, Dorian Davies scoring with a delightful free-kick. The lead was short live as within a minute The Robins were awarded a penalty. Narberth defender Richard Henton fouled Jimmy Walker inside the box. Southcott made no mistake with the resulting spot kick.
Tony Evans and Justin Blewitt wasted gilt-edged scoring chances for The Bluebirds.
Adam John added The Robins’ second goal on 70 minutes, he chased a long ball and duly rounded keeper John Durbridge and slotted into an empty net, giving his side the lead.
Ashley Williams equalised at a corner, but Southcott bagged the winner in the 80th minute, latching onto Dean Scourfield’s excellent cross and finishing with aplomb at the far post.
