MONKTON Swifts edged this game with a slender victory over Saundersfoot Sports at Monkton Lane.
This was only the Swifts’ second win of the season, as both teams came into this clash desperate for points.
All the goals were scored in the first half. Chris Millward put the visitors ahead in the tenth minute. The Swifts equalised on 30 minutes as Michael Canton drilled home from close range. Just before the break and Ryan Griffiths scored his side’s second goal and that turned out to be a winner, as there was no further scoring in the second period.
