HAVEN Angling Group held their last roving competition of the year last week.
With near gale force winds blowing from the southwest, a lot of the more popular rock marks was far too dangerous to attempt, which made finding a bit of shelter difficult.
Those who succeeded returned with some quality mixed bags.
In top spot with a good mixed bag was Jason Barcello with a total weight of over 6kgs, which included a good sized lovely codling. Taking second place with the heaviest fish was Lee James with a nice bullhuss. Third with another good mixed bag was Martin Thompson. Top
Lady on the day was Sandra Thompson and top junior was Billy Williams.
